Takumi Fujiwara
Main character of Initial D,he's an awesome racer and is destined to be number one. he has been driving since he was 13 and was trained by his father Bunta Fujiwara. Every morning he would help him deliver tofu and this helped Takumi develop his driving skills.
Special Driving Skills: Gutter Technique (2 versions) & Inertia Drift

Bunta Fujiwara
Takumi's father who doesn't really give a dam about him except for racing. He's the owner of a tofe shop. He has a high intellect about cars and even explains alot of different driving techniques and gives advice to Takumi when he races. As a driver, his old buddies think he is insane and that his drifts are crazy.
Special Driving Skills: Just about any drift..

Iggy Takeuchi
Itsuki is Takumi's best friend. He is VERY annoying and can't seem to get any girls. Itsuki sucks at driving and his car is a crappy AE85 Levin.

Natalie Mogi
Natsuki is one of Takumi's classmate's. They didn't have a close relationship at first but they get a little closer as the story progresses.
Special Driving Skills:
None but she gets enough rides on a Benz.

Iketani Kourchirou
The so called leader of the Speedstars. Even though he is the leader, he still can't match up to any other racers in Initial D. He only has a good understanding about cars but when it comes to relationships, this guy is hopeless. If you've watched Initial D, you'll know what i mean.

Kenji
A member of the Speedstars, not much i known about him except that he is Iketani's friend and he drops by at the gas station every now and then.

Yuuichi Tachibana
Hmm..seems like an adult version of Itsuki although less annoying and smarter. Yuuichi is Bunta's friend since they were young. Yuuichi used to always follow Bunta to the races. Just like how Itsuki follows Takumi. Owner of the gasoline station where Takumi works.

Wataru Akiyama
Wataru is the other guy with an 86. He has the same pride as Takumi as an AE86 racer. Seems like a nice guy sometimes, other times he's like a lunatic. and um...yea..that's it...
Special Driving Skills:
Wobbling the back of his turbo Levin to eliminate turbo lag.

Kazumi Akiyama
Younger sister of Wataru. She is a gentle and sweet person. The type of people who have a strong determination to reach a certain goal. Anyways, she treated Itsuki VERY nicely but just saw him as a younger brother.

Kai Kogashiwa
Bunta's rival's son. Kai seems like a second Takumi but with less driving skill. Wanting to be the fastest like any other racer, Kai goes around looking for challenges and uses the strategies he learns from his dad.

The Home Course Special..haha. Which is basically doing crazy jumps with his mr2 G-Limited
